loved it. Wasn't so fond of James T. I mean, William Shatner had brown eyes, not blue, but the actor himself was alright I guess. As for Sylar being the new spock? All I have to say is 'HOLY ****ING ****!' I mean, If there were ever a weirder face than Leonard Nemoy's.. But they did it! I mean, look closely:
They eyes, the chin, the mouth, cheek bones, hair, EVERYTHING! I wasn't so sure at first but seriously, take a close look.. Its frickin uncanny.
Other things I liked:
The Romulans: They were a bit boring before. I mean, how were they different from vulcans before? I like the face tattoos and I also really liked that main bad guy romulan. I liked it.
The ship warp: Its come a long way, folks. Remember 'Warp factor one please'... its like... wow, warp factor ONE! NOW were really COOKIN! Then it was next generation style 'warp nine'. Impressive, but it looked really...90s. 'zoooom!'
I like how the ships just sorta charge up and then, 'SNAP' they're gone. I liked it.
The phasers: Gosh, remember the original ones? They looked like norelco shavers or something, and that slllloooow blue beam would squirt out and 'phase' them good. I mean, I COULDA DODGED IT! EASY! SuRELY a Klingon would be able to dodge that **** too and take that little shaver away and PISTOL WHIP your ass with it. Now instead of 'pew, pew!' they go "SNAP! SNAP!' they actually LOOK deadly too.. I liked it.
Spock: Ill say it again. I've always loved spock in a very sexual way and I wasn't sure if i could love another. I mean, Leonard is now like 75 years old?
But damn them.. They did it. As a mediocre heroes fan, I hated Sylar. As a hardcore trekie, I love him. What can I say, boner city. I liked it.
Sulu: Still liked him, even after he came out of the closet. I would have been pissed if they didn't include him. They new guy is alright, but hes kindof a ***** compared to the old Sulu. Ever see the original episode where Sulu is all ****ed up and attacking people with no shirt and a fencing sword? heheh, I liked it.
All set up for a sequel now. I can't wait.
and yeah, Chekev was decent. Bones was okay too.

ok now we are forgetting another key player in the Star Trek world... Mr. Scott.
and all the old lines brought back to the big screen, so nice. i was shocked to see spock and uhura involved. didnt see that comin.
