[SUGGESTION] Imbuing menu

There are a minimum of 5 clicks for every imbuing attempt.

This could be lowered for training purposes by setting the default intensity value to the next higher intensity for the object being imbued.

EX. I imbue a weapon with 1% hit harm. Then I wish to raise it to 2%. When I select hit harm it defaults to 1% and I have to change it. If I fail to change it, it tells me AFTER the attempt that the object already is at 1% intensity. I just wasted 5 clicks and have to start over. Defaulting it to 2% in this case would have saved 1 click for sure and 6 had I messed up.

This particular issue has been the base reason for most all scripts. It would be nice to see this UO failure to end.

I second this.

Or even better - do not close the gump after the imbuing attempt.

If the attempt fails, leave the imbue gump at the same screen with the previously selected properties and intensities. Have a small status window like the current crafting gumps to indicate the attempt failed.

If the attempt succeeds, bring the gump back to the previous menu where you can select a property to imbue.

1 more thing to add - sometimes, the amount of ingredients you need do not appear if you have scaled down the UI to 75% (via the enhanced client of course, since UI Scaling in only available in that client). Does anyone have this issue?

While I am at it, 1 more display bug that I had - in legacy backpack mode, when I mouse over boxes, backpacks and bags inside my main pack, only certain positions on that internal container will cause it to highlight yellow and show me the properties.

The weird thing is when they are highlighted, I can't double click them to open. I need to move the cursor about to find a sweet spot where it doesn't highlight yellow and dbl click at these spots to open them. Does anyone have this issue as well?

I agree. There are way too many clicks required per attempt. There needs to be a Make Last option, or something along those lines. Maybe condense the menu somehow.

Yes, there is a huge issue with cursor placement on the screen. It's about a 1/4 inch off from where it should be. This is one of the 3 reasons I stopped testing.

I REALLY like Harlequin's idea, tho it would be a bit clunky for imbuing an item with high success chance, it would still be less clicks than it is now.

I want to suggest a "type in" area for intensity, but I suspect this is not an option because not everything goes up or down in incriments of 1.

Yes, I have had the same issue and reported it several days ago.

To give more details regarding that idea:

For items with high success rates, if you fail, you remain at the same screen and it's 1 click away to re-imbue the same property. You also get a message in the imbuing gump (like how it is in the crafting gump) saying "You have failed to imbue 100 luck on to the leather leggings". (I prefer to get a feedback to say what I have failed/succeeded in, esp in laggy situations).

If you succeed (includes those 100%+ auto success imbues), you get the message "You have successfully imbued 100 luck on to the leather leggings". Then get returned to the previous menu where you can immediately select another property to imbue on to the same item you have already selected. No need to activate the skill again and re-target the item.

If you don't want to imbue further, just right click to close the gump.

For the numeric mods, something like a modified quantity selection when you drag a stack of items would be awesome. You can

1) Type in the exact amount, if you exceed the max, it gets reset to max
2) You can drag the scroll bar
3) Plus little buttons to set to max/min
3) Plus little buttons to set to increase/decrease in single units

Well, they did add that reimbue item function.

Of course, it's pretty lolworthy. People were asking since closed beta for a button to attempt the exact same thing again in one click, and instead we got a button that saves us a scroll of the mousewheel/last target macro or one click.
