Suggestion for Clean-Up Points - Make them Account Based

Instead of each character having their own personal clean up points, make it so each character on that account has access to turning in, and getting rewards from the same account-based pool of clean up points.

Before ya say, "just give all the items to the main character"; id like to add that, it is an annoyance...

It's an annoyance, but really it's a minor one. I just put a crate by the trash can and toss all my loot, IDOC finds, etc... into it and log in with my designated 'clean up' character once every day or two to sort, unravel, and toss.

Would be nice to be able to transfer points, maybe a token of some sort from the turn in that gives the same number of points when trashed.

Ooh yes please It would be very useful for anyone who doesn't have a house especially. But I just did a round of bank tidying, and it would be handy to pull those points all together. I don't mind that they're spread out, I just needed to clear space and didn't mind. But I would certainly appreciate if the points were account based as that allows characters to just trash items directly instead of taking it all home, changing character and then throwing the stuff away

I wish the points AND the bank boxes were shared across all chars on an account.

I agree with the suggestion from the original post and would sign with a plus one.

I would have to give some serious thought on one of the follow up suggestions of a "transfer token" for transferring points between characters because, though it would help people with multiple accounts, that could have weird effects on the economy.

To offer additional changes for thought to expand on the original idea...
Would a change like this be beneficial for the collections as well?
Clean Up, Brit Library, Vesper Museum, Moonglow Zoo, etc?

And to really go out of the box...
What would happen if all these various collections were merged and work from the same point system and the same point pool?
I guess that would make it easier but we would probably lose too much RP flavor.
Just food for thought.

They also need to up the gold to point ratio... this creates a better gold sink in the game and will allow people to get the items they want instead of buying them from vendors that probably get them from scripting resources and tossing the low end resources away

I like this idea. I find I stash all my junk and then bring in my one character just to throw everything out. Seems unnecessary.

Sure, giving everything to the clean-up-point-char is an option, but it's not even remotely convenient. So a big +1 from me too...

Signing this one.. Would love to see cleanup points as well as gold tied to an account, and not a single character.
