[Suggestion] Devs, about the Cloak rewards

Dear game developers,

I know you are quite busy with important stuff currently. However, if we all use our nifty new rewards from the current events (Cloaks of Silence, Power, Life etc.), we all look like smurfs. It would be great if there was a wider variety of clothes available.

Maybe you could offer the services of an NPC who can exchange a cloak into one of the following:

- Sash
- Surcoat
- Tunic
- Jin-Baori
- Robe
- Dress
- or Jester Suit?

It would be a great addition, allowing us to act out our individualism (which is one of the greates features of this game), without messing around with game balance.

Problem is you start having several different clothing slots with this +10 stealth or w/e and now you suddenly end up with +20 stealth from clothing alone, or +30 and so on which does mess with the balance a good bit. I could see maybe a different style of robe or cloak or something else that would occupy that same slot but not really being available as a Dress, Robe, Sash kind of thing.

Edit: You are right, I just tested it. I didn't know as I never put on one of these cloaks. Too bad! The clothes I mentioned all use the same slot, but the Cloak uses a different one.

Yeah the names misleading considering lol. You think cloak goes on my back, and you get Robe lol.

I know that there are no end of silly things in this game, but for some reason, the thought of a jester suit with +10 stealth makes me snicker

The idea still has merit, he just mentioned the wrong item slot. I would love this as i refuse to wear the cloak, just because I dont feel like looking like everyone else with one.

Just revise the list to: Gilded Dress, Male Kimono, Fancy Dress, Hakama-****a, Plain Dress, Female Elven Robe, Hooded Shrouds Of Shadows (unsure about this one), Robe, Female Kimono, Kamishimo.

... and why not just give tailors the ability to convert clothes from one style to another of the same item slot?

Ooo, and an ability to allow crafters to convert armor types too, (cant convert non-mage armor types to mage armor types)

I agree thats why I said I could see a differen't style of robe or something that would occupy the same slot. Personally I enjoy the robes because I wear a mark of travesty oO lol. Thing is Oogly and the cloak is perfect for fixing that so you can see my Juka face instead lol.

But I am in no way against a different style or something else for that slot. Heck even something like this.......

I've wanted this for a long, long time... as long as you are not changing the "class" of item (ie, leather stays leather, cloth stays cloth, plate stays plate) there won't be any effect whatsoever on game balance and all that jazz. Could end up an excellent gold sink...

I'd like to have the ability to change the crimson cincture from the gastly half apron into the elf-appropriate woodland belt (as it originally was).

Sorry, but the half aprons are hideous. I'd settle for it looking like a simple belt as well...

The cloaks have become a blight on the fashion scene of Sosaria.

Developers should stay away from the temptation of putting mods on clothing. They must have foreseen this? Is this some underhanded way to making us all look like an elf?

My personal hope is that one day the sash slot and robe slot will be merged into one, and more artifacts made out of those clothing types.

This would, for example, make hawk's suggestion entirely balanced, while also providing incentive for players to wear something that isn't a robe.
