Stygian Abyss/Account question

Hey all. I don't know if this question should be asked in the Tech forum or what but it's a real noob questions so I'm posing it here. I use the "classic" 2D client.
I have one account and it is registered under Mondain's Legacy so I can play with all the content up to Mondain's Lecagy, right? Since Stygian Abyss has come out I have patched up all the updates but without buying Stygian Abyss I can't use any of that new content. If I buy SA would there be any more downloading or is the purchase just giving me access to the new content and I should be able to use it without any hassles?
If I wanted to choose this time to start a second account (I've heard some players have more than one account) would it make any difference if I started out with a new Stygian Abyss account and upgraded my original account at some future point? Would it make more sense to upgrade my original account first?

Using the 2D (Classic) client, you should have recently gotten 2 patches. One was over 300MB in size and the other was smaller. The 300MB one was the SA content.

Sooo, get the upgrade, register it and that content is then unlocked. Any downloads will be patches just to keep things up to date ... but no, no huge d/l of a whole new client should be needed.

<snicker> I take that back ... UNLESS you wanna d/l the Enhanced client and give that a whirl.

And it appears you're almost a next door neighbor ... I'm in NY State over by Syracuse.

King Durango, let me know when you buy the upgrade code and place it.. I also us the 2D Mondain Legacy and do not want the enhanced 3D version of SA. I downloaded the whole enhanced 3D SA BETA and my laptop told me "if you do that again I'm leaving" So being that my laptop would not support the graphics I can not us the enhanced version. But I want to buy the upgrade for SA using the 2D client But also wanted someone else to do it first... Just in case.....

The 2D client is updated with all the SA information (after all, you'll still be SEEING SA stuff even if you're only ML enabled)- all you have to do is upgrade the account to SA - no additional downloading required.

This has been answered repeatedly on U.Hall, and I can confirm it from my own upgrading, 2 days after the original release (I was good to go in SA immediately after the upgrade code was applied, no downloading).

what Basara says ... I've upgraded 2 accounts and both use 2D.

You have the content, now go upgrade the account(s).
