Why can we not have seperate channels for fel and tram ?? and i know we can make our own etc etc but what i seek is a tram channel that can not be used by anyone in fel and visa versa

Originally, there were separate channels - but the Fel players preferred to have their smack-talk where the most people would see it - so they always stayed in the tram general chat. As the system evolved, they were combined because the fel version wasn't used.
I can imagine the Dev's didn't want to force the channel based on location since a team might be in fel - with one player dashing home for repairs who is then unable to see what the rest of the team is saying.

Don't forget chat is just full of total maddness at all hours, no matter what shard you're on. lol 
And those two at times talking smack driving you nuts are sometimes one or both squatting at Luna bank.
While General Chat is at best a good way to comuneicate between players all over the shard.
Evilpixie is right, no matter the time or shard chat becomes wild at times and with the spamming of things over it its a wonder this question is not asked more...
But to be frank its good as it is... even if I dont like all the smack talk from the pvp set kicking each other not only in deed but in words..... Not all live in Tram or work there ether... So to cut off Fel from the chat is not a good thing...

I think a change with this should be added: You should auto-switch chat-channels upon entering a different facet (fel-tram only)
You should have the option to pick and choose which one you really want to be in. Imo, for buying/selling purposes, most pvpers or (smack-talkers) don't even open the chat gump, or bother switching channels. I am one of the people who don't bother opening the gump, although I rarely (not saying never) talk smack to anyone.
