Stupid Question- Does parry and bushido work with archer?

been havin trouble getting a concrete answer on this, got a samurai and want to make him a pvp archer, does parry do anything for an archer? dont you parry with your weapon if you have bushido and parry?

No, they do not work with archery.

You cannot parry with a bow but you can use some of the bushido spells.

Parry doesn't work with archery weapons.

So parry and the higher parry chance from bushido will not benefit your archer.

However, lots of archers still pack bushido for the other uses -

1) DI bonus from honoring
2) Lightning strike
3) Confidence for quick and cheap hp recovery

Momentum strike and honorable execution can also be used by archers, but their usefulness to archers are limited.

Check out the "ABC Archer" template in the Warrior forums. (Not sure if it's good for PVP though)

You could also just replace Parry with Hiding for some extra safety.

thx, i stoned off parry, might throw off bushido as well since its a pvp archer. replaced parry with resisting spells, dont know what i want to replace bushido with. does evasion do anything without parry?
