Stronbox vs metal box?

I can't remember but isnt one of these made illegally? Which one is the daily and which is the one that was made? Is it still illegal to own or are both ok now?

lock down the metal box...use a tool to turn it and it becomes a strongbox and visa versa...names change depending on the direction they are facing.
no idea how they are made other then finding them in the middle of the houses after an idoc falls

yes there is also a post about making traped boxes that can be open without picking and uses same process unless they have changed this !

Just go back to the thread list and double click to the right of your title and you should be able to edit it...

A long time ago you could place a strongbox in a house you were friended to, it held 25 items. I think when they took that option away that any strongboxes that were already in place could be unlocked and picked up. I had 5 locked down in my house with all of my 2nd accounts char names on them untill I quit for a few years, the house fell and I guess they either decayed or got looted.

The funny thing is that the house I had on the 2nd account was still there when I returned 2 and a half years later. Who would have guessed!!
