strength/hit points question

My smith/miner has 125 strength but the hp gump in the EC shows that he has only 110 hp. Is this right? I thought each point of strength equaled one hit point. Not sure if it matters, but he's wearing the virtue armor set.

Thanks!

Your HP should be about 112. The formula is INT(STR/2)+50. In this case INT(125/2)+50 = 62+50 = 112. My miner has 125 STR and 112 HP.

INT = INTeger ... drops decimal portion of calcs - in case you didn't know. Some folks don't.

Strip the character of all armor and clothing and check again. Make sure you have no stat decrease spells on you such as Weaken.
