Stratics Voon is finally ready for open beta.

Voon replaces the need for paid Teamspeak/Ventrillo servers while simultaneously providing all the benefits of IRC networks in terms of events, community and cross-networking.

Some ppl are not getting a default list of rooms. you can add rooms to the list by clicking manage, then book mark, in the box type the first letter, like S, then click find, highlight the ones you like in your list and then ok it. They will be added to the rooms list you have. To enter the room dbl click the room in the list of rooms. Be carful i didn't find a way to remove the room from the server it only removes it from your list. Once a room is created it is there perment. Maybe this will get fixed later. Overal I love it. It will get rid of my need to run both ICQ and vent While i play my fav game..Please use the same terms of use there too no need to use vulgar language or abuse ppl just to try it. Thanks

Can be be successful as long as the people give it a try. Hope these pics answer some questions as to the layout.

Much of the same features as Vent, probably more. I have not experienced any lag with this yet but I have not been in a room yet with more than four other people.

NOt sure password changeing may not be implamented yet on voon. Or might be diff place to change it?? Ok i found it there is a link in the email that was sent. Click it and you can change it there. I just did it and it worked for me.

Well I am one of those people that don't get the default room. Don't matter what I select I see nothing but either myself or me and Irona. Select enter a room and still nothing.

Only thing I have ever got into the one time was Ten Ton Hammer. Because I had so little time I could not stay in it very long.

This is the only place I know of to post anything that could possably help me.

Downloaded it, but there's no one there. And I'm struggling with the concept of folks not needing vent or whatever to organise hunts n things. What's to stop your opposing guild dropping in on your chat and finding out what you're up to? There doesn't seem to be any privacy for groups!

yes, you can make a room for your guild and password it, then only people with the correct password can enter it.

It would be much easier to help out if there was somplace in there to ask questions on how to work it. Way it is now you don't need to pass word anything.

You have to remember there are people that never uses this type program. (Like me)

I think it was a success. It helps you remember your pass word. I know that it is doing that for me anyway.
