Stratics needs an update to the beginners essay page.

The current one is waaaaaaaaaaay out of date. The guide says "Last Updated September 9th, 2001" and the content inside seems to match. I think Stratics should get an updated file or at least link to the beginner FAQs here on the New Player Forum.

There is a guide to submissions on the main page.

See, the guides and stuff are primarily written by players ... not Devs. So you get a player perspective. You're quite welcome to update it as long as you follow the submission guides. They'll credit you in a byline also.

Yes, there is lots of that on Stratics. Your best bet is to post questions here or at the most populated band on your shard. There are plenty of people who enjoy helping others.
