Personally I hate it... it's ugly and I can't stand it.
When they did the big update the other month they kind of runied it but they listened to feedback and its been getting better each update from then on. I find it so much faster than using the website on a mobile.
When the page is loading, sometimes when you click a link, you are clicking what will be there AFTER the add banner loads. It was probably coincidence that you are hitting the add itself. I occasionally do the same thing and it happens often when trying to click one of the top threads on the page. The area of the page that the add occupies loads shortly after the data in the page loads, so you see the data and try to click while the add is still processing it's display on the page. Then the page "jumps down" when the add shows because the banner height affects where the top of the forum view is. While we may have been clicking the top thread, your mobile device maintains the same area of where you clicked and in that split second, we end up clicking higher than we had intended.
