You know, this is only about the 20th thread asking this - and the answer is still the same.
Stratics had an unfortunate issue with a host provider that accidentally wiped our forums (and a number of the main sites for games other than UO), and our backup provider was a scammer.
We've had the data recovered from the drives, but we're still in the process of restoring the data, and converting the data to the new forum format (which we had already had in private testing, when the incident occurred).
We just got the trade forums (without the old posts) back in the last few days, and the profession forums will follow soon. Sometime after that, the older posts we've recovered will be moved to their proper locations.
Until then, most of your Profession questions can be asked and answered in the Player's Corner forum.
