Strangers are bugged? No spawn on some shards today! Devs, plz enlighten us!

*They 'Fixed' the Magic Drop boxes.

* The next shards to get the spawn suddenly found top level stuff flying about, Crimsons, Ornies, etc etc

* Ooops??

* Its kinda broke lets turn it off whilst we fiddle some more

And so it plays, frustrating for those poor folks who havent been able to get to one spawn. Im kinda ok, got 3 boxes from 3 spawns, granted, empty and useless, but pretty all the same.

*Decides - Sod it, Ill go run the dungeon rounds again, just in case..... may even get a 10th anni drop, -Slashes everything in frustration, beware Skellies and Lizards, CatTs' A comin....

The fact that everything is so random in this event, realily blows!

When i feel like kicking some spawn, theres never anything about, my bad timing, again and again.

Seems like Im always at the bus stop and nothing shows, except for a few frustrated fools like me, thinking something is going to happen.

I believe there was an instance on the top floor of despise. As I road through there i discovered a pile of loot, nothing you would find on lizard men. With the discription of how the treasure chests work it's likely that one was discovered there.

Possible its a major fu*k up on there part and there trying to hide it instead of saying we messed it up then messed it up and and guess what again...... or this is the event? he kept spawning on servers that killed him till he was killed on every server? and the fix at maitanace was to fix the rare gems and actually drop loot? as for artis and high end items dropping as of yet its hearsay to me as i didnt see anything from the one on napa at server up just DF loot, gold and regular vendor gems, and every server iv checked has only seen him once (since server up, not today)

No sightings thusfar on Pacific.. other than around 830am CST..

Few to nil rare gems.. 2 corruption.. and some magic garb. Wonder if it was the gems, or the high-end stuff dropping that casued him to go away. The stranger could have also found what he was looking for, fiction-wise..

No word from Dev that ive seen..

As mentioned in another post we killed one at server up today that was already spawned before the server went down on Lake Superior and have yet to see another since so I take it this is all shards and whatever changes made caused the spawn to stop. I imagine this will be corrected with the next server maintenance though.

according to a friend of mine on another shard, a box dropped that someone tried to pull and it opened and literally dropped peerless rares like a proxy drag which he got so i am not saying his name, he said he saw a hat of the magi and a mark of the travesty, and then they stopped spawning. Someone miscoded it, they aren't going to admit to that huge mistake, as then they will get screams of bloody murder, so they pulled it and went into a meeting of the minds on what to do. Same thing with beserkers when they were bugged to unbond pets and they pulled them. The key here is, don't waste your time running around till the diehards start saying they are there again, at least they ARE respawning at all and intended too, unlike the rift guardians.

i believe it was there from the previous night...the same myx was stuck in the rocks for hours and i guess a gm finally decided to do something about it...it was still there when we got there in am.

well, at 1:45 AM, the Nujelm spawn finally respawned on lake austin - vanguard was dead by 2:05; everything else by 2:10.

Still no sign of a stranger
