Strange Things in hte Twisted Weld !

Ok i was taming some Cu's in the Twisted Weld when all of a sudden this sound as if i went to fel was heard and the Twisted Weld changed to Dead trees and gravestones....

I thought maybe it was a glich and i logged out and back in again and everything was fine then a few mins later it did it again...Has this ever happen to anyone before....

na it is a bug that been about for years, i used to have it happen to me while i was at brit smiths training smithing about 4 years ago.

it just happens for some unknown reason, many people have theorys about it but i dont think its properly been explained by the devs as to why it happens, it just does.

I really hope this is the new event arc... turning Trammel facets back into Felucca style... not the actual facet but the look (even tho the actual facet would be uber cool!!!) having a reason to fight over things would be great!!!

Well, I know how to change the scenary in my own files from Tram to Fel or visa versa. Nothing should inadvertantly be changing those unless, you change facets, because that is on your own computer. -too many reports of this for it to be a random bug - I say.

It's one of the oldest existing bugs in the game. Go to Felucca and it will follow you until you restart the client, logging out/in only helps temporarily. I've had the fel sound suddenly sound and all the trees lose their leaves in Ilshenar and Tokuno many many times if I'd been to Felucca earlier.

Log out in the Felucca ruleset and you will have the "Changeing to felucca look" Log out in trammel and it will not happen

Loging out is meaning dureing server maintence, If you log a char first that was loged out in Felucca it will happen to that charactor, the ones who are in trammel it does not happen to is my experiance with the phenomenon

It's a bug. Been a bug since tram existed. Its a remnant of the moonstone transition. Thats the sound that happened when you went through the moonstone gate.

hehe, Just imagine if this happened the other way around. Recalling to Fel, and seeing all the Tree's Green..............and making a Bug report that you just got attacked while in Tram........hehe

I'm not sure if this is what blackrain is asking for, reading your posts confuse me at times, but it makes felucca nice. Anyways my point is I don't get that "Strange Things" "Bug".

You can still tell what facet you are on by the color of the cursor. Silver for felucca, gold for trammel.

This happens to me 2-3 times a week but I just have always thought it happened because I would go to fel and then re-enter tram and the game still sees me in Fel. I dunno really. Perhaps the last publish kinda put a fubar on things lately.

Happens all the time. Usually about once a day for me since my house is in Fel and i travel to outside of fel for most of my pvm. Its completely random, but yes all the time.

It's happening where ever i go....No matter where i am it always happens and it stays that way till i log out...then when i play again it happens again...

When I would play and venture into Fel I'd rather see Sosaria as what it was meant to be, green and full of life. Not a bombed out wasteland. So I'd go into the config file and change those lines to make the trees normal in Fel.

But hey, to each their own.

If it is part of the coming storm, that storm has been coming for literally years and years. Basically, for some reason, the client randomly forgets what facet you're on and shifts you over. The server, of course, still sees you on the correct facet, and so housing and stuff is correct, but the graphics are all Feluccan when it shifts.

I've only ever had it happen if I switched between the two facets though during a session. Of course, I've also had it happen in Malas which was a bit weird. But as it's only a graphic shift, it's not a huge deal.

Just weird.

it is sad that players are so desperate for an event(any event) to happen they are looking at a very old bug as a sign of an event coming.

ive had this happen to me a lot.
infact id say this is allmost a daily thing for me.

i attribute it to the fact that i am constantlly flipping back and forth from tram and fel.

at any rate, its been happening to me for years and on a dailly basis.
