Strange Book on Display at Counselor's Guild

Good morning,

A strange book, entitled "A Treatise on Demonic Magics", is currently on display at the Britain Counselor's Guild in Trammel.

The book can be perused, but on first glance, it appears to be nothing more than a standard mage's spellbook. It appears to be blessed, and currently has seven spells inscribed within it. Scrolls can, in fact, be added to it.

Does anyone know the story behind this tome?

I could be wrong, but I believe it's just a decoration. A modified spell book.
