(RP) Store Sell Out

"Wow!" said Tully Mars as he took an inventory of his vendors., "We really moved a bunch of old stagnant stuff. Hey even those soulstones we picked up for our lost and found sold! Wonder if that means the owners returned to Sosaria?!"

"They didn't," said Frank Bama somewhat despondently as he handed Tully a paper.

Tully started reading, "By Royal Decree...yadda yadda yadda...new phase in the process of cleaning up Britannia...yadda yadda yadda...your civic duty....yadda yadda...citizens will be rewarded for turning in certain items including..." His face sank as he read the list of items and the bounty point system for such items.

"You mean to tell me that those soulstones we have been saving in hopes of reuniting the skill with the original owner...they were all trashed?" Tully asked without really needing an answer.

Frank nodded, "Yeah but they haven't been trashed yet. Nope, people are hoarding for opening day turn in."

Tully continued to scan the list and compare it to the inventory on his hired vendors, "All our porcelain masks? Gone? They took everyone of our free talismans? Don't they know that was a service? Aww man they got all the sweet potato pie too?!?"

The thought of closing the store crossed his mind. Would this be the end of what might be the last vendor mall in Felucca (unless you count the high priced stores around Fel Yew Moongate)? He so willingly gave away this stuff just yesterday and the people who took it used to be grateful and thankful. Now the stuff had future value and the people who took it were filled with avarice and greed. Tully half wished the Vesper guards didn't patrol his store as he would exact a revenge on those with profit in their eyes and greed in their hearts. He looked at his friend Frank Bama who once lived in the world of thieves and thought even this treasure lusting scoundrel to be better of character than those who are looking for the quick score.
