Stealth is not an option when creating a character..

Has anyone else noticed this? I mean, in order to have stealth you gotta have hiding right? Shouldn't we be able to pick stealth as a skill to start with after we pick hiding?

I went to the "advanced" option for creating a new character I wanted to make on Europa, I was going to go with 50 stealth and 50 hiding..
STEALTH and Spellweaving are the only skills that are not on there.. Everything else is there except for those two skills..

Can anyone confirm as to why, is it something they forgot to put in there years ago or are the two skills left out intentionally?

its because your hiding is not high enough at even 50 to have stealth

Spellweaving requires the completion of a quest to gain access.

You can take the new player skill quests in New Haven. First buy 40 skill, then accept the quest and you can train to 50 in hiding and stealth. Take the hiding quest first, so you will have that skill for stealth.

*Remember to purchase skill points first as you can not purchase them after you accept the quest. This is the fastest way to get to 50.

I believe the requirement to have 50 hiding skill before you could purchase stealth training from an NPC was changed a few years ago so now you only need 30 hiding skill.

Forensic Evaluation = yes
Detecting Hidden = yes
Poisoning = yes

Just create a new character on a different shard, and look at the skills in the menu... that is an easy way to find out.

i seem to remember a while ago, you needed something like 60 or 70 hiding before you could even start training stealth
