There is advantage in elf to not being detected. Is it substantial or negligible?
*groan* again the urban legend. There is no advantage against passive reveal in being an elf, AFAIK. Read the description. I am not aware of any dev statement contradicting it. You get a bonus against TRACKING, not reveal.
Can't really say if the bonus against tracking is negligible or not, it's hard to test it, but if it works like the bonus from wraith form it is completely ineffective if you are GM/GM hid/stealth or more.
