Do pets stats like strength and hit points get cut in half if it goes wild and has to be retamed? I know that a hyru loses its stats on the initial tame.

Slots can no longer be dropped via any method.
Yup and Hiryus.
Its sad. Don't feel bad. Don't waste your time on 4 slot Cus. You can get much better newly tamed ones. Retire the poor old Cus and get new ones, hopefully color, with as close to 600 hps as possible. It used to be we could reduce from 4 to 3 slots the Cus, but some people exploited the dropping of slots, and made 2 slot Cus that caused an uproar for the cheat, enough that the devs finally made the change. You may find a number of posts here for this.
