Starting PvP

I'm still fairly new to Ultima. For my first two characters I made a crafter, and a Sampire to make gold. Now that I've geared my up my Samp, I want to start a pvp character. I don't really know much about pvp, and I'd like to start a character with ninjitsu/hiding/stealth/not really positive of what else. I've searched through some forums and such, but the information seems to be pretty dated, and I'm not sure if it is still relevant. Anyone have any advice as to where to start, or perhaps a link to some pvp or ninja guides I could check out? thanks

So it sounds like your looking to be a stealther. The first thing I would recommend is learning the offensive skill your looking for, are you going to want to use a ranged or a melee weapon? To figure this out what kind of fights are you looking for? Open field fights, Yew Gate fights or grinders? From there you can determine race and there are a few fun temps out there for that. Your not going to get a lot of love on the field running a stealther but it can be fun.

120 Fencing
115 Tactics
115 Ninjitsu (taking to 120)
55 Chiv - is that enough? I'm going to make a suit for 4/6
85 stealth - is that enough? If i'm using med armor? Can I wear Woodland with higher?
100 Hiding
85 Bushido - Really just added it because i've seen other builds with it, not sure what it's based on. Evasion and Counter Attack?

I have a cap of 700, so I think I still have 25ish points left. Any input would be appreciated.

My guy is human, but I'm willing to do the elf quest if they're better.

As far as what type of fights, i'm not sure, i've only pvp'd on my Samp at spawns. Only managed to kill someone once

Well as far as Sampire pvp goes thats pretty good. It is doable the temp your talking about although for stealth I think nox might do better. The temp your looking at is about timing and being in the right place. Your going to have trouble going toe to toe and your mana is going to be an issue. Right now my guess would be splintering weapons with focus. This looks like a faction gate temp designed to get in kill shots. Bush can help with some healing with confidence and will give you evasion and counter attack but I am not sure how effective your going to be able to make it which is why nox might end up better for you as it can throw a curve with their healing. Remember to smoke bomb and wait until a damage dump goes really well. Thats the best advice I can give a stealther. It is a viable temp and it should be pretty fun to mess around with.
