Starter kit token?

I got a freind to take up UO..
He said he got a starter kit token that gave him some armor and a gold ticket that lets him gain skills like a soa i figured.

He lost hes young status already from training pass 500..
Thing is he made a new char and he is not young?
Plus he dosent get a starter kit for new char?

He only starter earlyer today..
Is the kit for first char you make?
And if one char passes the 500 skill mark , the new chars he make are nolonger considered young?
Even if there new and only one day starting UO?

I tryed to search ..but its very limited on Young player start ups i found..

I have no idea what the starter kit token is, but I do believe the young status is account-based. So once a character gets past it, I am pretty sure the whole account is no longer young.

I can vouche for the 'young' status thing. If you renounce your status, no character you make will ever have that status again, no matter how many skill points they have.

Also, I have never heard of a 'starter kit' token, but it actually sounds like a cool idea! We should add it to the new player experience thread.
