This is for EA-LAND .....I decided too make another sim on both of my accounts (have 2 Accounts) and when i went into the game i started with 0.00 on both of my sims... these sims are paying accounts so shouldnt i have gotten 500.00 starting money? it really makes it hard too tip the places i go too when you need too start by skilling first... but thank god my other sims had a little bit of cash i could give my broke sims....

There is no start-up money for new avatars.

Only the oldest gets the bonus, once a week.

I know it is confusing, if you were one of the first in the new land, because we all got our bonus money to start with, but after that, secondary characters on the account, start with nothing.

Like Gilly said, startup is zero dollars. You get your first $500 a week bonus when your sim is a week old. :|

i understand that... but what i see for a problem with starting out with no cash is when you do not tip those people tend too get a little frustrated... as like i said before i have 2 accounts so i was able to give my new sims some cash for the tipping purpose....but for those people who are just starting and create a second sim is going to have to start with the money house without a single skill at all... just too make the bare 3 dollars at a jam table for awhile so they could tip the money house then they could go too the skill house with what money was left..(maybe 25.00) think about it will ya.... isnt there a way you could give a little bit of money to start the sim out with?

This is easy enough to solve....have both of your sims roomie in the same house and have the 2nd sim buy a tip jar for themselves....then you can log back into the house with the first sim and place however much money you want them to have in the tip jar. I keep 200 simoleans on all of my sims this way.

I agree with your idea but what would stop someone from making a bunch of sims and just giving the money to their main sim? Even if they were given 100 simoleans, over time that is extra money being created... which is what the dev team is trying to stop.
