i played uo a long time but quite a few years ago. how much has it changed? is it worth paying for again? how do i retrieve old account?

Depends on what you're interested in doing in this game. Can always open a trial account for free and look around first hand to get an idea if you want to activate your main account. How much has changed depends on exactly how long ago you quit, when did you last play?

I love playing UO, my guild on Sonoma does events every night except Fridays, I still log on and have fun everyday!

but where do i go to find it. how do i get the game back on my computer. is there a download someplace?

The client download is on the right side there..
I reccomend the Enhanced Client but it's a personal preference thing, both clients are there.
If you do decide to use the Enhanced Client (or EC as you'll see it referred to) I'd also suggest using Pinco's UI.
And If you ever come to Catskills, I have a small guild that also plays every day.

i remember the acct info but nothing is working from that page. it's asking for ea info and for some reason it's not working. and what is the mythic master acct?

Make a Mythic master account..
Then link your UO account using "account name"_uo
Then your uo account will show up with an option to activate it.
You can use a credit/debit card or a gametime code at that point.
There are much more detailed explanations up top where the stickies are labelled "Account Migration Ongoing Problems"

Dont forget that _uo at the end of your account name it can mess you up big time if you leave it off.

Hint : your Mythic and EA account names will be your email address.
Once you have your Mythic Account setup remember to set yourself a new password. Then we'll move on to linking your account.
P.S. Do you have Vent or ICQ? It might be easier to walk you through it that way.

no maybe i didnt. this is really a pain in the ass. i don't have vent or icq but im about to get one. i wonder if my icq will still work
I went through this last week. Its insanely complicated and gave me a headache. 2 hours later, I did finally get my account active. I used the guides here at Stratics. I feel that there was something missing in the guide, but I managed to get it done. I cant remember what I had to do that was not in the guide, but have no doubt, it is a complete PITA.
Borric is right it's not user friendly at all.. but don't give up.
All I'm doing is mining and working tailoring today so I don't mind walking ya through it.
If you have a microphone I suggest you download and install the Vent client..

Agreed, this is a real turn off. The Origin store is even worse.
Funny how other games don't have a problem taking your money, but EA does....

Welcome back Cyndane. Which shard do you play?
Don't forget to set the account to auto renew. Do it while the puzzle path is fresh in your mind geting through account management. Trying to get back to your account info 6 months later is a pain.
