Ah, ha. One thing that's changed is you now automatically get all upgrades prior to Stygian Abyss. No need to buy ML, for instance. Additionally, the Stygian Abyss expansion is one of the best expansions ever. Really a lot of fun. It goes on sale at the Origin store pretty regularly and it's worth it.
