Have been there on the archer.
EEO and Divine doesnt seem to do a whole lot, neither does using a undead slayer.
However, Consecrate weapon will sometimes one hit em, or two hit kill. I find it to be the best way to go...everything else seems a waste of mana.
they like to poison, and FS you...go ahve plenty of fire resist.
Additionally, for the restless souls? I think it is, the clear ones that just stand around, IF you are a human, your JOaT +20 bonus to skills will let you release them with SS and get the threads. YOu will fail quite often, but I am finding I get more threads from this than killing the aggressive red ones. The forsakens, that wander, dont bother trying to exorcise them yet, they are broken, and Draconi has said that will get fixed in a maintenance publish...but didn't say which day.
With a mage, Evs will take corrupted souls down quick, but so far haven't gotten a drop using them. AND if there is no corrupted soul nearby, the ev will lock onto the forsaken ones, and can't damage it, just stand there fighting it until they expire...
Flamestrike works wonders, if ya have high enough MR to hang with it.
