This... this might just be brilliant. If this is done right and tuned properly, and the random places a map can send you are random enough, this could be the common man's equalizer against scripters.

It depends on if it sends you to a location that is already giving that resource and other people may already be collecting there, or it sends you to a location and changes the location for you so it is new.

Watch it turn out that using the map items also generates some nasty spawn. Of course, some people don't care if they leave that stuff behind for someone else to deal with, kinda like when blackrock elementals spawned while you were mining. I always hated those things, especially if you were mining near houses and one popped up. No way to kill 'em and most people just left them as nasty surprises for the residents. Ugh.

Until you realize that these things are probably the Covetous point rewards, and that those points will be scripted. Script the points, get the rewards, script the maps. Fail.

Anyway that assumes a script can farm the Covetous spawn to higher levels indefinitely, that everyone else down there won't "accidentaly" invis next to the bot with 8 things chasing them, etc etc etc.
