NP Thanks! Is it because of the Cold Area?Worthless sorry
Brittle makes something worthless? Why do people buy up antiques? Antique seems much worse than brittle. No the brittle
Antique / brittle is a no no for splinter weapons. Unless it is some uber weapon but then it would still be looked as more of a use it until it breaks kind of thing and not hold much value.Brittle makes something worthless?
Ah so its more a brittle + splinter issue? Thanks for the explanation! My experience in game is that antique stuff gets burned through so quickly so I was surprised to see how much some stuff was being put up for on these forums.Antique / brittle is a no no for splinter weapons. Yep. When you hit a target with a splinter weapon it breaks way faster than normal. I think from memory it looses 10 points of durability a hit. This is why the demand is for "clean" (or prized) splinter weapons as you can use POF to get the durability back up.Ah so its more a brittle + splinter issue?
Thanks again! Trying to figure out what mods are decent and whats not. I have a brittle legendary katana with Hit Poison Area 70% and I think Hit Dispel 50%, HCI 15% and DI 30% with some regens and battle lust. Was going to price check it later but my question is - and I think you already answered but I'd like to confirm - does splintering and hit area proc hit spells?Yep. The antique items that sell for high amounts are pretty much always jewels. These are good for PvP as you can get crazy mods on them. Antique will break faster but if taken care o they can still last a good while.
As for this war fork even if it was clean / prized it wouldn't hold much value. It had no hit spell, no DI, no SSI etc etc. The fact that the splinter won't work with disarm anymore kinda killed the war fork. I just use an imbued one myself now.
