Hey all,

My spell weaving is currently at 112 and i'm really struggling to get any gains at all,
What's the fastest way to get it up?

well WOD is what i used to get to 120, but you could get discoed by a sayter and use a faster casting spell, but the boring way is to make a last spell last target macro in UO and target your horse then jump on and hit the hot key. no damage to the horse while your mounted but lets you cast on it anyway.

Fire Rings mixed in with all the E-bolting and Flamestrikes till you get in WoD range. Day you use some mindless grind to gain, just cut up the credit card bond to your UO account. Play the game and let Sheit happen. You will respect the character more in the morning and be proud of what you did.

Rule is best to work in the 70% success range for gains. If there is nothing left to to challenge your skill then the gains will be slower. Chalk it up to the thinkers that really don't play the game. They have a fuzzy ME test shard and none have sat down and trained a skill from NPC buy up to 120 in years.

The man he talk sense. Nothing worse than grinding skill. Just play and deliberately cast the spells which keep you in the success range for the best gains.

Camp Navery if your shard has folks there. Pray for a drop while spamming WOD on her the whole time. Yeah, not much damage but with reaper form you should easily get looting rights. Wait/Pray for great luck with tanlge, when it finally drops sell the thing and go buy SW SOT's {or what I refer to as Skill Viagra :p } to finish off. If you think gains are slow at 112, wait until after 115.

And that is whay legendary is not that, well legendary. Few days of smart play and "walla" I are great.

Why it drives me nuts. As an old very old D&D GM. With players from the next state showing up at times to play my worlds, decades ago. Take this with a grain of salt. UO has been around to long to keep handing players anything game related on a silver platter. Tight assed veteran players should be out their running their shards storyline and not EMs. 2, 3, 4 Guildmasters secretly talking should be orchestrating and balancing felplay. Not some faction system that will never make the losing side happy. If you don't break up 4 hours of Shame grind with community hunt, Questing or fishing/treasure hunting. Your UOing all wrong. "I AM NOT INSANE" as proof how many players have honestly assembled and earned their own Valorite Hammer. Compared to those that burned a Valorite Hammer. You can throw as many CodeMages and coin counters at a game that you want. It is those with a balanced finger on human nature and world economics and 2oz of imagination that makes a fantasy world thrive.

No I'm am not looking for a job at EA. Sure I've thought about becoming the King of Earth. Even if EA offered me the money to fix all their short comings to become the King of Earth. The effort would cut into my UO time. And I cannot have that. I have to have my BOD filling while watching Knights Tale for the umpteenth time, time.
