Spellweaving, Peacer Tamer

You may find mana is an issue, and I personally wouldn't rely just on spellweaving to heal myself. But that's not to say you couldn't make it work. I'd just recommend that you try on test centre and see how it feels for you before you commit to anything.
As for what spellweaving adds, well the obvious things are gift of life and gift of renewal. Plus you're going to be able to support your pets damage wise. Ethy voyage has it's uses, I've never tried taming with it, but you can. The negatives being you need a good mana supply to blast spells out with it and you'd need to maintain a high focus to get the best out of spellweaving. But if you can work around those then it's worth trying.
As a bard skill though, most tamers tend to go for disco rather than peace. There are peace tamers, but I'd rather have disco most of the time and have the option of soulstoning on peace if I could. But, it comes down to what you wanna do and your playstyle - peace might work really well for you. Again, try on test centre and see what you prefer.
