"Special" loot drops?

Haven't played UO in a while, just getting back into it. Specifically, my Siege char.

What I'm wondering is, a while ago they added a new type of loot system to the game. "revamped loot" ? I don't remember where they spawned.. I think normal dungeons? The special items were grey in hue and were generally cursed, and had some nice properties. I think there was a basic 'tier' system to the loot. Does that system still exist? If so, whereabouts is it found? And does it exist on Siege?

yes in the old duneons such as covetous, despise and such. it is tiered by luck and how hard is the monster. on up to legendary
