Spawn computer gone nutz? Or unanounced EM event?

On Pacific at the west shore of Minoc Sea Serpents galore... Deep and normal along the coast... Seems to be tapering off but for the last few hours its been leather heaven.

Did the spawn comp go nutz? Also spotted are enfernal demons and blood eles west of Hythloth, and poison eles at Deceit path....

It sounds like those are the remnants of an EM event that never got killed or deleted.

Welp the New NPC is sending out alerts about the Sea Slugs ... seems it is a EM unattended event ... it is a good thing for many showed up to go kill and have fun.... as for the other 2 idk...

Well if the NPC is spamming about it then yep EM Event.

It's not unheard of for spawn to exist between events. Sometimes it's left over and sometimes it plainly is deliberate. (Such as for example when GL's events for a month or so took place in an extremely large gladiator arena of some kind, you could wander in between the events and find some "fighters" to fight, in between the actual events.)

Well I will say it perked up the players for a short time and had people wondering.... Also its odd that some EM's will leave up parts of their events without cleaning up. Its fine that a few got missed but in the area that the second group on hythloth are its not 1 or 2 ..its a very large mob of these creatures.
I know many EM's are limited on their personal time they can devote but one would think clean up would be part of the job.

Obviously its not "missed" cleanup. With the criers announcing stuff at the same time the spawn showed up, its clearly intentional. It happens alot. EM's aren't handcuffed to only doing stuff during announced events. Invasion type stuff happens, and they most likely will get addressed in an event in the future.
