I finally found spam for sale (and bought it), can it be locked down?

I finally found spam for sale (and bought it), can it be locked down?

Can't remember if Spam is newbied or not, easiest way to make sure is to Lock and empty container down in your house, drop the item you want to see if you can lock down in the box. If it stays in the box you are good to go. If it immediatley pops into your pack you can not lock it down.

Spam according to some threads i have read here is newbified and cant be locked down. However, i have had a piece locked down at my place for over a year and its still there! can show if you wish.
