Space Saving Storage Solutions?

I am wondering what folks do for storage. I have a small vendor house, and I'd like to maximize my vendor locations, and minimize my space taken up for storage. I'd rather not stack a bunch of leather pouches in the corner, but have something nice to look at, but not terribly space consuming. Anyone have some advice?

There is a Stone Kitchen Table tutorial Sticky'd at the top of the forum :) Maybe try lining a wall with those tables, dye wooden chests to match the stone, and stack them under the table while using the IDT to moosh them down. You could probably fit 3 under each tile of the table :)

You might like my little shop at Moonglow Gate on Siege.

I can't claim credit for the ideas, most of them are adapted from things I've seen here, with the possible exception of the brackets under the lanterns and commodity deed box.

Small storage solutions were something I looked into when I built the shop, shops by moongates tend to be tiny. 8 tokuno baskets fit in there much better than 8 wooden chests, and with the little basket on the gift box in the corner that's 1250 storage spaces. I do love my little shop, it's cosy.

Petra,

I like the racks very much. It looks like they are clock frames, boards and the baskets. They are put toghter very well. I am goning to add one of those to my house in a area that is currently stacked metal chests. Shelves look much nicer.

Thanks

Perfect Petra. That's exactly what I was looking for.
Now, off to gather baskets.

There are a few other storage containers you could try which are similar in size to the Tokuno baskets: picnic baskets you sometimes get from Solens or the Red Velvet Boxes that were given out for Valentine's Day gifts in years past.

I find that they work very well in small spaces and if you can't manage to find the Tokuno baskets (either on vendors or steal them yourself), the picnic baskets are a viable option if you are short on time (or gold) to collect them. I have to say though, that with all the different types of Tokuno baskets available, there are a multitude of variations you can play with.

Have fun!
