While killing some bake kitsune with my pets, occasionally the dying cries of the bake kitsune would be at full volume despite my having the volume at below half. Rather alarming when you are used to a quieter level of game play.
Edit: It wasn't the bake kitsune I was hearing, it was the sound you hear when you suddenly regain mana that had been drained by your attacker, whom just died.
