I was but a young lad when my father, "Archie" Sinclair, sailed the early waters of the Sosarian seas. He was a well known ship merchant and was looked up to amoungst the traders and ports for the fine merchandise he carried in the holds of his ship. Merchandise that came from every port in Sosaria.

I grew up in a "middle" class family, with the comforts of a nice home snuggled amoung the rolling hills west of Trinisic. Growing up as a small child tho was somewhat difficult, as my father was a pile driver as a captain that required alot from his crew and from me as a child. As his only son,I was forced to go along and work as a deck hand on the long cruises when my father was traveling the seas. BUT, there was a dark side to my father that nor I or anyone else knew about. He was a SMUGGLER. A BLACK MARKET runner and was good at it. So good in fact, that the Crown had suspicions, but could never catch him to prove otherwise.

Smuggling and dealing in the black market rackets was a Royal offense and was dealt with severly. A man was hung if caught dealing with what they considered "low-life" and my father was well aware of this. But the gold to be made was , in my fathers thoughts, was well worth the chance. I think sometimes the reason we lived so well was from the fact that he made most of our wealth from the "Black Market" and the type of people he dealt with. PIRATES. The kind of scuffy individuals you didn't turn your back on or cross in any matter, shape ,or form. Then one day, while the sun was cutting through the morning sea mist, all wasn't what it appeared to be.
