Hi guys, I hope you all have had a good start to the new year. My family is really being tested lately. My daughters grandfather passed away last week and that family is kinda 'crazy', so that has kept us busy. I was just getting ready to start physical therapy on my left foot only to slip and fall again. BUT this time I broke a toe, sprained my RIGHT ankle, and broke my back. We have decided that we are going to have to find a new home for my dog, Trinity, (she is my avitar). She is just to big for me to handle anymore.
I am not supposed to sit up which drives me crazy. I have to lay down 24/7, can't walk, lift or bend. I am getting fitted for a 'torso' hard brace on Tuesday. I am seeing the back surgeon tomorrow just to rule out surgery.
Hoepfully soon, I will be back on to kick some cog boo-tay with you guys!

I saw the back specialist today and he said that I can sit up for a few minutes at a time. I have some powerful pain medication and he said that as long as I am comfortable I can sit up. Still gotta use the wheel chair for long distances, but I can live with that. They took more xrays and said the facture was very mild and I don't need surgery and it would heal on its own. SOOOO, that was good news!! Things are looking up!
