Something weird with Neira

I was doing the undead spawn the other day and noticed my damage wasn't very good. It wasn't the ideal set-up, I didn't get to get the honor on it. I did have the undead talisman equipped. I had a hatchet with no slayer type on it equipped. 150 str, 120 tact, 120 anat, maxed DI from items and gm resist to stop the oath.

I didn't put up enemy of one. All I used was the slayer type. I was only doing AI's for like 40-50. That was the damage listed in my status bar too.

It seemed like the talisman wasn't giving slayer bonus on Neira.

Niera isnt affected by undead slayers

That is my understanding as well. You need the slayer to help mow down the side spawn, but Neira herself won't give you the slayer bonus.

I would be interested to know if Neira is vulnerable to a Mage slayer. I've never heard of anyone trying it but it sounds logical. She is a human necromancer.

Wow, that makes sense then.

UOGuide says she is vulnerable to undead.

What about Repond?

I'll try mage slayer talisman and a repond slayer next time I fight her.

I'm nearly sure I've tried repond with little effect but I've not tried mage slayers.

So, did you guys find out what to do to damage Neira?

I was doing the spawn earlier today, and couldn't honor her, and got AIs for like 50 damage too...

Took me like 1 hour to kill her... :/

Sorry I've not been back to do an undead. Rewards are garbage compared to Riki and Semi, so I only do those now.

I thought Neira is non slayer.
However, I tried now because I had not tried.
I got honor for her,I got honor in another monster by the remainder 30%.
I equipped it with mage slayer.
Result,damage were reduced by half.
She is non slayer.

agreed here. would be good to see undeads and spiders drop the same goods as semi and rikkis do. its not like semi and rikkis are all the much harder if they are even harder at all.

on the flip side would be good to see a tweak upwards in the sash and collar drops. cant tell u how many semis weve done the past year with drops being quite stingy.

She also seems to have some sort of anti-feint. If you use feint against her, your damage is reduced to half, resulting in 25-30 damage per hit after eoo and perfection.

Similarly, your damage decreases to the use of armed swampy.
