how do I get white boards and cloth?

I think the white boards are something from Mondain's Legacy that you can get with Lumberjacking, but don't quote me on that.
Ice white cloth is (or used to be) a BOD reward.

white boards can be made by using luna white tokuno dye on any of the special wood types. However you can't make anything with boards that have been treated this way. To get white furniture make in a special wood type (eg oak) and dye the resulting furniture or deed.
Ice white cloth is a bod reward, as stated, but the pure white cloth was created from a kind of spider silk that is part of a quest. It was not intended that cloth could be made in this way and the bug that allowed it has since been fixed.

Do you mean that you can dye a whole stack of wood white the Tok pigments? But then you can't build anything with?
That's what I understand, yes.
I've never used dye on boards and haven't checked if you still can. But I do know you can't make anything with them, the menu can't recognise what wood type it is.
[edit] checked on Test, chopped some oak boards, dyed them tokuno blue, tried to make a box, menu said I had no boards
