Wow, Dragonchilde is certainly a great role-model for the budding herder. Becoming a commissioned dog-catcher for the Royal City of Britain has given the great herder an eternal prominence of which I must admit I am jealous. Congratulations to Dragonchilde for the creativity, knowledge and experience from which I attempt to learn. And I hope my aspirations do not reek too much of copy-catting, but if so are taken as the greatest form of compliment.

And so, thought I, what fun today? Well, Luna is often home to many a spectacle, and so I decided to bring my own little entertainment to the greatest citizens of the realm. Walking around the great wall of Luna I noticed some birds, and become enchanted with the variety of colors and species and so began my herding.

The forest just outside provided great numbers of all types of our feathered friends.

I made a quick pass around the walls, starting from the east and wandering counterclockwise. I added to my flock nightingales, skylarks, wrens, lapwings. So many. Kingfishers, crossbills, swifts, finchs. Nuthatches, towee, warblers, and more. Around the western forests I found woodpeckers and eventually i even managed to convince a hawk to join my flock.

Realizing I had over 30 birds I decided to bring some small light-hearted fun to Luna, and spread some joy and cheer to the sometimes so-serious merchants and bankers there.

We flew into Luna's North Gate and made our way around the vendors, with a few shoppers enjoying the sight, others far too busy even to notice. I would take them through the bank, I thought, and then let them roost at my home, perhaps attracting some visitors or questions, or business.

But alas, we are all familiar with what often occurs when someone else notices some fun or even something they do not understand. I ran afowl of a fiendish sort and my activity was cut short just steps from success.

I heard the dread words of a spellcaster and knew my journey was ended. The less than charming Cadence [RFHF] laid low our poor parakeets with a few quick spells and less than creative interference.

(I should have stuck with the Greater Dragons, perhaps.)

Awww, that looks like fun. It does get frustrating how people see the masses you lead, and immediately feels the need to step in and "liberate" you from your "problem."

The greaters are indeed far better able to defend themselves. ?Unfortunately, people areaware of their risk, and tend to avoid them. I've been herding in Fel Destard for a while, and haven't see anyone yet... one day...

Silver farmers love the daemon temple. Might try your dragon herding there.
