i chucked it into a crate and it can stay there for 6 months till someone does a write up on it on one of the wiki's

*grumble grumble*

i just dont understand..... if you cant use it for imbuing..... and you cant enhance a bow that hasnt been enhanced before because enhancing it will go over the cap (which is kinda what i thought this thing was suppose to do) then what the doogie are we suppose to use this thing for?

Poo,

The first thing I tried this tool on was a bow.

I imbued a composite bow with 30 SSI (among other things) and enhanced it with Ash for 40 SSI.

I am not sure why you experienced what you described above.

I clicked the tool, it said my next enhance would be 100% and then I enhanced the bow no problem.

yup

did the exact same.

got a message that the bow had allready been enhanced and that anything higher would make it too unstable.

ah well.

Isn't there a cap of 50ssi for items?

Edit: I realize you asked about going above caps, but I don't think you can break past the hard caps...So you can get more than "30ssi" Since 30 is the imbuing cap, but can't get more than 50 (the item cap). Just a thought.

You can get 35% from a runic, so what you do is get the low end runics and make one till you get the single mod at 100% intensity. 35% swing, using regular wood. Then you imbue it and then you enhance it with yew giving 45% and remember to powder first.

Hmm maybe you can only craft 30% swear it use to be 35% I just tried it on test but couldnt get one. Might have been bad luck though.

Yes but that is still less than 50% ssi, which I believe to be the cap for items ssi :)

It is ash and not yew for the 10 SSI. Also enhancing does not prevent you from powdering an item. The first Imbue does. Think to get those over the top mod scores takes higher runics to even have a snowballs chance. Not sure on the SSI but I know can still hit 55DI with a runic. Also may need to look into some weapons have different mod caps then others.

is there a switch to turn it off in case something happens and you dont want that enhancement to use a charge? can you just take it out of you backpack to foil the enhancement?

say for instance u mess up and the item says u cant enhance it. can u undo the charge waiting to be spent?

Yeah I was sleep typing when i put yew, in another thread I said Ash I think lol. All I do is grab the green one lol. The reason I said powder first is because the way I do it is find the right piece then imbue then enhance. So I powder first. If you imbue after you enhance you might as well just made the item out of the material because you lose from your imbuing cap of 500.

Crap I just looked and you do have to use the highest end for carp and fletching. Its not like sewing and smith where you can get 100% intensity on the lowest runics.

nope.

or i should say that yes there is a switch to turn it off, but it eats a charge even if you do that.

im pretty sure there is a 60% total ssi cap, not sure on the per item cap, if there is one ... but I think total ssi cap is 60%.
