some evil omen questions

if you use a dot, poison, strangle, blees, w/e, will evil omen apply to one tick, or the entire spell.

also, if someone is poisoned, and you try to use some evil omen combo on them, will the next damage tick waste your evil omen?

I'm not sure what happens when the DoT is cast after evil omen, but when it's cast before, it should just apply to the next damage tick.

if you caste EO before poison, it simply ups it to the next level of poison.

I think if you caste it during someones strangle, the next tick will be increase, not sure though, good test question

I was referring to other DoTs in general. I was aware poison boosted a level, but I've never heard anything about it affecting other DoTs beyond the initial tick.
