Solo warrior

I have 2 questions.

The first one is about abyss mini spawns.
In his nice warrior's guide, CorwinXX say that we should be able to solo these mini spawns with only a cheap suit.
This may be a problem of interpretation. For me "able to solo a spawn" is to go right in the middle and strike everything, just having sometime to run away quickly for healing. Have to lure monsters one by one or few in a safe place is more for me something like "solo a spawn with caution"
I ask that because with my old weak sampire (weak because reforging had not been invented yet when I made the suit) enslaved globlins and passage of tears were easy, Land of the lich and abyssal lair entrance, mmmmmm, and in the others I was dying regularly.
Perhaps only because I'm a poor warrior

The second one is about soloing peerless and bosses.
I have never done that solo and it's time for me to try and die.
Would you have any order to learn, from the easiest to the most difficult ?

I will use the paladin samurai Template from CorwinXX guide (seems that Duncan don't like Samurdin) and copy shamefully the duncan's paladin suit, just perhaps with 84 physical resist because I like protection with JOAT when I don't use resist (at the moment I don't understand the need of the all 75 resist of Corwin but it will come).

With a basically "free" suit I was able to, generally speaking, run into the middle of a spawn and whirlwind things to death for the first 2 levels without problem for most of them, then the 3rd level takes some care, but even that was pretty straightforward.

By free suit, I mean that my suit was 1) not reforged. 2) contained no arties (I used brightsite lenses as my headgear was probabably the most pricey piece), and none of the pieces were imbued high enough that they needed the 'special' ingredient - other than super slayer property on my weapon.

I was even able to solo some of the "real" champ spawns this way in Fel to summon the champ, but then generally needed help to kill the champ. While I do usually die when doing this, it is usually because my "attack closest" macro/my ability to click on the right monster seems to screw up on too regular of a basis.

I have yet to try a peerless boss or solo a champ spawn now that I have a properly buit suit (though I still want me some tinkers legs).

Going into a middle of a spawn is even with top gear sometimes no good idea if opposite slayer monster types spawn at the same time. E.g fire temples ruin /lava caldera mini champ spawn. Last wave consists of fire demons and lava elementals.

There are some that are very easy though. E.g abyssal lair entrance. Grab a huge demon slayer weapon and go for it. Standard sampire template and gear is more than enough here

Peerless i wouls start with dreadhorn. Did it with my old sampire build too. Medusa is pretty easy too but you need gorgon lenses.

Copying my suit and template is sure a good idea, but you will need some time to craft these things and some gold for tinker legs, crimson rangers cloak and conjurers garb. Just be sure you have 100% HLL weapons.

Having all resists at 75 is an optimum. 75 res with 20 dci is better than 70 with 45. you will take a bit less overall melee damage and take less spell damage. Having 90 physical res makes the use of protection possible. Right now Im constructing such a gear but its kinda nasty. Since i want all parts be human plate I'm a bit short of invuln refinements.

I use a simple macro "target nearest enemy, special move, attack current target". Just press the key every time when WW is not on.
I also have a macro "target nearest enemy, attack current target" for cases when WW is on but my char is not swinging.

Duncan, I have already the arties and my 100%HLL double axes (help from Corwin in another thread). Time is for me a necessary component of uo I rarely buy resources or tools. Mining and recycling bods are for me a part of the game (mainly for pofs) and I will use the hammers instead of selling them (this is new for me as I use only barbed leather suits). For ingredients my warriors don't master the mini spawns but my tamers do. I just begin to learn reforging so I will perhaps have to come back for help. Otherwise I will perhaps give news only in 6 monthes, no problem, that's the game. Thanks also for the 75 tip, I learned that.
uo is a nice community. Speaking of time, I saved a lot with your help, CorwinXX's and others.
