Solen Matriarch Quest

I'm trying to complete this quest and have killed the 7 solen infiltrators, collected 200 Zoogi Fungus, have placed tons of water in the Vats but the Matriarch will not talk to me. The quest log says to return to the Matriarch as my next objective but when I select talk from the menu nothing happens.

Is this quest bugged?
Am I missing something?

My guess you've already talked to her and she's waiting for you to drop the 200 zoogi on her.

I just tried to see if I could drag and drop the zoogi fungus on the Matriarch. It doesn't work the always go back into my bag.

The only other thing I can think of is you accidentally dumped your water in the vats BEFORE speaking to her to have her tell you to do it, so now she's waiting for the water.

I did put the water in before I was asked, so that is probably the problem. Is their away to reset the quest?

putting in the water again might have done it. Not sure.

Easier to cancel quest and redo
