Sod subscription numbers...how many people have actually tried/played UO

This is gonna be a massive number....11 years of UO!!! such a figure would show the whole impact of the daddy of this genre.....

Thinks how the cunning makers of 'wow' adds there player base up....every account ever made and every free trial ever made....jeeze whats ya all reckon for our own UO game...all those add ons.... all those free trials/ codes and accounts....

im going for 2.75 to 3.0 million figure.....probably pretty conservative??

I wonder if global chat has reduced Stratics usage at all. Most of the time when I ask a question at Luna (sans global) no one responds, haha. But the question has been pretty much the same lately...where are the staves!!!!!

The few million mark seems reasonable.
I wonder though if the average time to get a new customer to play is still 15 minutes or less now

Be nice if the current customer base of say 75-100k each got given one buddy code each .....so we could all bring a freind..try and entice a freind/partner or family to come a try what a few million have already tried!!....even if it was just 10 days or so.....

This is three ways 'wow' "adds there player base up".

I've been playing wow full time for the past month and no one in my guild has ever heard of UO.

But if it helps pad UO's sub numbers any I have opened at least 30 UO accounts since late 2002.

Have 5 mains because my kids used to play and we all wanted our own house ingame. The rest were to hold land back when you could do that on trial accounts.

None of my kids play anymore though my son sometimes mentions he might try test out but that generally lasts less than a week when he does get on UO.

I keep globle chat turned off. it is to distracting from the game for me.
