with how long it takes to find the items to return and the time it takes to return the items, buying a few thousand items takes you down a whole dot.

these virtues are becoming more work then they are worth..

it seems sacrifice is the only virtue that has gotten better with these changes.

I'm training Honesty mainly for buying saltpeter. I typically do 30 500 unit purchases to get 15k of it for 500 rounds of heavy cannon fire when I buy it. I really hope it drops no lower than Follower when I do it from maxed Honesty. I'll be very ticked if it drops more than that considering the timesink it is.

All that character will be buying will be saltpeter & regs, once the reg stock is up to 999 per buy. I'm now using my other alchemist or Craftsman for all other crafting buying. I'd sure hate to waste any Honesty when getting the 20 plant pots per day I buy.

Players who can only play a few hours per day are going to be months building up a characters Honesty. What a nitwit idea these Virtue changes are looking to be. rolleyes:

It basically makes this virtue utterly useless......

I mean, it is MUCH more efficient to use the time to earn gold or items that can be sold for gold and use this gold to buy whatever from NPCs at full price rather than to spend time to raise the honesty virtue to then save MUCH LESS gold when buying anything from NPCs....

Looks to me as wasted development work, unfortunately.......

Time IS an asset, and any development addition, to make it worthwhile for players, should go towards them SAVING UP their time, not wasting it all for much less return........

exactly, it sounds like they were given a task to fix what ever bug they were told to fix and instead they all slacked off and created this virtue in the last few minutes before the boss came back so they wouldnt get into trouble..

it took me 2 weeks to get to knight, and 3 days to go back to nothing.
i didnt even notice it until the message saying that i got a discount went away.

all i purchased was regs and blank scrolls.

the savings were not worth the time invested, thats for sure.
