I joined the ranks of everyone else who is losing jobs right now today. I just had this vibe that I knew it was going to happen. They spared me the news until about 3pm. Luckily it's only temporary and I could be called back as early as the end of next week. They also layed off 25 people from the production line as well. My boss reassured me that my job will still be there when things pick up and I was the last person she wanted to see to be let go. Well, I was the only person left that could go..haha The great thing is that my unemployment benefits will be from when I was making 10% more than I am now and when I was working overtime. I'll probably make just as much if not more from that. Tomorrow or Friday I'm heading to the casino to spend my $110 in free credit, hoping to make a nest egg from that. So it's more like a mini vacation, but yeah it still stinks. I'm waiting for the OBAMABOOM 2009 to take affect! Be safe out there people, it's a crazy world we livin in right now!

Hey Thanks all! Well I returned from the casino, I played for about 3 Hours. Out of the $110 credit, I cashed in $85 from that. I won $25 on a Quick Hits Progressive. I sat down and the second spin I hit. I then went to put all of my vouchers into one big voucher and I decided to try to spin that one. It freaked me out and I won $45 on that after one spin. $40 into the roulette machine and walked away with $75. I didn't win anything huge, but ehh it wasted about 5 hours of a day. Then I stop at work to pick up my paycheck and they mailed it, go figure.
Yesterday I got to watch my niece for a few hours and we filmed this masterpiece. Something funny about a 4 year old screaming at a Macaw.

I'm not sure I could trust a roulette machine. I'm already skeptical with the video poker.
Yeah I know right! This old guy next to me had a notepad and was recording numbers and such. It's like dude it's a computer, the results are already set by it. The virtual wheel is just for show. I've done very well with it, but I've also lost it all at times. I'm no good at video poker, I try but never seem to win much.

I have a friend that goes gambling once a week and only plays the roulette machines. She regularly comes home up $1500 or higher each week. She swears by that machine and says it is easy to win on. I have played it before and while I win on it, I don't win big. I play it like I do the roulette tables. Slow and steady. I think roulette is the easiest to win off of. I find myself at the roulette table when I am on a losing streak. I play it for an hour and recoup my money to play something else. I prefer the slot machines that have the bonus games on them. Those are the most fun.

Can I just say UGH! I didn't get that crappy piece of paper that says I'm educated to play with dead animals! I can't believe I even applied for a call center job, but hey, I'm running out of savings. I just can't believe my BS in MIS is completely worthless - and I STILL owe money for student loans.

Well it wasn't her decision, it was the big wigs above her. I'll be working Wednesdays 7AM-3:30PM. It's going to be rough!
