So what do people do these days?

Hi,

I transferred some of my chars from napa over to atlantic about a year ago, I haven't played in a while and am considering playing for a bit. The only problem is, I have no idea how to get back in game. I have no friends on Atlantic and I'm not sure what people do in game these days, where the action is.

Most of my chars are maxxed out so I can hunt just about anything. It would be nice to find a big group of people to hang out with, hop on VENT, pvp, pvm, etc..

The UO community has always been the best there is, so I pose this question to you Atlantic friends. What kind of things can you suggest that would help me get back into the game?

The SA dungeons are filled with people at the moment especially at the mini bosses and champspawns.

Should be an easy way to get to know people and meet new friends

what do people who don't have the new expansion do?

do people still do doom? or miasma (in the citadel)?

The Doom guntlet is still possible, as is miasma. I like champs and peerless, myself. The new Stygian Abyss dungeon has a couple new champs, a couple new peerless, slasher of the veils, and a bunch of mini-champs - these are all pretty fun.

Your best bet is to keep connected with a large guild. They're going to be the ones who do stuff like peerless and champs, which typically require more than one person. I don't have any beef with any of the big guilds - any of them are probably safe choices.

I'm in UWF, but we don't do official hunts fel side (dislike the drama, rivalries, name calling. etc.). We do a lot of tram-side champs (minotaur, bedlam, tok, twisted weald, valor, humility) and peerless, doom gauntlet, etc. Nightly hunts at 9pm EST.

Your best shot is joining a guild, and a large one as well that might have enough activities to keep you interested and happy.

Far as what keeps me busy? I couldn't be busier between the expansion, rping and maintaining my vendors.
