So purple bunnies are rare, right?

Anyone know how rare?

Do you tame them? Kill them? If you happen to have one, are people buying them just for the rarity?

Or are they maybe one of those that are rare on paper but not so rare in actual fact?

Unless there are different shades of pink, the purple don't seem to be as rare as we were led to believe.

Dunno if it's intended or not, but if you buy rabbits from the stable masters, they are purple/pink.

Does that mean every rabbit will lose its color once the Valentines stuff is turned off (and easter, if more colors are added for it and that part of the event extended)?

I really gotta know, cause this whole little "colored rabbits" scenario is reminding me of something department stores used to do years ago; spraypainting baby chicks various colors and selling them, only to have the color fade off later, as a gimmick to make some money off of the poor things.

I don't care about in how many ways we can get those darn bunnies - Paragon trolls can have them on their head.. or worse places - doesn't matter, but I do care about in what colors.


We've been told shades of pink and rare purple. They all look to have been colored a shade of purple, so how do we know when we actually have found a rare purple one?

I killed a purple bunny didn't know it was special.

Whats the point? Just to tame a rare hued bunny? Or am I missing something?

lol Okay, maybe I need my eyes checked, but it still looks like light purple to me. So that's it? There aren't any true pink ones?

What would be funny(in a sick joke kinda of way) is to get a name change token and rename your(not litterally you) tamer to Elmer Fudd and have a tmaed bonded purple bunny,and then go bank sit and spam "kill the wabbit" and FS the bunny.Rez the bunny and then rinse repeat.and also you could spam "I killed the wabbit" after each time you kiled it.

This isn't very clear so let me see if I get this right. Tamed bunnies will retain their hues, but after the V-Day event is wrapped up, there will be no more purple and pink bunnies (until next V-day perhaps)?

Thats the way I understand it. If you want to keep one you better get it tamed because at some point the bunnies hopping around will no longer be pink/purple.

I just hope they remain rare this time. Unlike previous gift items where they are recycled over and over and over and over.

I have a question,
We have rabbits and jack rabbits, both of which are spawning in hues of purple at the moment. Does anyone know if the jack rabbits are also spawning neon? or is it just the rabbits

I am very much feeling like Elmur Fudd at the moment. "be vewy vewy kwiet im hunting wabbits ehehehehehe"

i also wanted to know it.
from my experience, i spent about 450 ammo and 4 hrs in total for, er, shooting only *jack* rabbits on sight by one hit. no rare one. tired from McGregor time.

just off the top of my head, rare color would have something to do with natural hue. i believe regular rabbits spawn in a few color variations say light gray, dark gray, and such, but jack rabbits are always brown.

Both jack rabbits and rabbits spawn in the rarer color. Have tamed one of each personally so can verify for sure.

Well.. I know nothing of any shard but my own shard but all I am seeing is purple bunnies no pink ones to be seen. So I can only think its PINK thats rare not purple. Can anyone post a picture of a pink one? *thinks maybe I am color blind?*

OK whats going on!!! Ive been culling jack rabbits in a high spawn area over the past couple of days and not ones neon! ive literally killed hundreds and nada

I just got mine over a period of 1h 42mins of near instant respawn killing.

id say the respawn rate was around 3-5 secs average and sometimes spiked as high as 10.

what ever the math is in there, is how many rabbits ive slain to get my pink


way to tired and got a long day ahead of me tomorrow so gl all

I would almost have to say the rarity is about 150-200 to 1. Gotten 3 so far.

And here's me, hoping that "pink" was "bubble-gum pink" - Bah!

It seems they're "power-crystal pink" which, unless I have a colour problem, looks nothing LIKE pink?

I've been at Jhelom in the farm area. Since like 8:30 or so this morning, killing the rabbits. But having no luck

The ones considered "pink" are the ev colored ones.

I've been whacking Jack Rabbits for hours, tried different areas too, still haven't gotten a bright purple one! =(

Ah well, I've got to find one eventually!

Well I whacked bunnies for a good 2 hours today and finally got one!..... I'm soo happy..... now to get me a pretty Jack Rabbit too!
