That's my favorite area of Malas. I'm jealous of Tazar's Falling Waters Fortress.

Was this built over the pond? I thought you couldn't build over water?

No, this was a clearing for the Dryad Queen for the third part of the Gargoyle quest. It is on fire island. You can enter the tree and then are asked several quastions.
